How to add music to Instagram stories
In this first method, we will try to add music directly from Instagram. Tap the camera button or your story icon to add a new story. Then tap on the music tag to add music to your simple photos and videos.

Adding music
When you’re ready to make a selection, tap on the song you want to add to your story. If you use a still image for the story, the music story lasts a maximum of 15 seconds. However, if you’re working with a video, Instagram will cut it into separate 15-second segments and the music will play for as long as the video. running. Using an image gives you the option to choose which part of the title is played in your story. To do this, move the scroll bar until you find the section of the song that you want to add to the photo or video. You can then touch the photo thumbnail to change the image or get an overlay of the moving texts.
For some songs you can choose between several images and some of them also have lyrics. When you are done choosing the stickers to display the song name or lyrics. You can hit Done and the song will be added to your story as a sticker. Once you have completed your music selections, the song will appear as a tag in your history. You can choose where to place the sticker in the story by dragging it across the screen with your finger. Also, You can zoom or rotate the sticker with two fingers to change the orientation. You can also double-tap the sticker to return to the previous screen and change the appearance of the sticker.
When you’re done modifying the music, tap the Your Story icon to post the story with the music selection. If you only want specific people to see it. You can choose close friends or choose a custom group of people and send it to them. To view your story, you can touch the Your Story icon while the music is playing. Touch the song tag to access the music player and options. Your followers can see the story and play music on it.
