The act of losing weight means losing more calories than your daily consumption. Meaning if you need 1500 calories in order to maintain your normal weight then you need to consume less than this. That is probably taking 1300 calories in the diet and burning 300 calories during the workout.
Obviously one should start with 2 days a week and then take it to 4 or 5 depending on their capacity and commitment.

Pre-workout is basically a supplement presented in powder form which is taken before in order to increase your stamina, endurance, and overall performance.
It works by delaying the fatigue in a person. It is a combination of caffeine, B vitamin, etc

- Caffeine- Caffeine is present in most pre-workouts and helps to boost your overall performance and even your mental stability. It can be taken in the form of energy drinks or coffee.
- BCAA- branched-chain amino acids. Helps in muscle building.
- Glutamine- can be produced by the body. But in some instances, the body might need a higher percentage of glutamine. This is used to reduce muscle damage and inflammation.
- Creatine- creates high-intensity performance and gives certain boosts of energy.
When to take pre-workout supplements?
It should be taken 30-60 minutes as it takes this much time for it to peak in your blood.
