How to save the image from Twitter? Android, iOS, Windows and Mac!

Twitter is the third most visited website on the internet; with this large user base, it hosts people from all sorts of backgrounds, from world leaders, industry experts to online trolls. Hence there is an abundance of media in the form of images uploaded on this platform. Some post motivational quotes, some share data from research, and the majority of them share a meme. 

Naturally, you would want to share the picture of something interesting and hilarious that you have found on Twitter with the people who are not on Twitter. In this article, we tell you how you can download a picture from Twitter.

How to do download image from Twitter on phone

There are two ways to save images from Twitter to phone:-

  1. Take a screenshot:-a) Open the image you want to download and take a screenshot of the image
    b) Crop the screenshot to remove the unwanted details captured in it.
    c) Save the image on your device.

    How to take a screenshot on an Android device

    To take a screenshot on an Android device, press the power and volume down button simultaneously. 
    It will capture the content of your screen in the image format.

    How to take a screenshot in iPhone

    In a newer iPhone which has Face Id and no home button, you need to press the power button and volume up together to capture the screen.

    In an older generation iPhone, you need to press the sleep button along with the home button together to capture the screen.

    The second step is to click on the image and tap did to save it in the gallery.

  2. Saving the image on Mobile or PC

    a) Open the Twitter mobile app
    b) Go on the image that you want to download.
    c) Tap on it to open it for full display.
    d) Tap on the three dots on the top right-hand corner
    e) Tap on the Save
    f) The image will get saved on your device.

    How to download an image from Twitter on a computer:

    a) Log in to your Twitter account from your computer.
    b) Go to the image you want to download.
    c) Click on the image for the full display.
    d) Press right click on the image.
    e) Select the option “save image as..”
    f) Select the folder where you want to download the image.
    g) Write a name for the image.
    h) Click on the save.

The image will get saved in your selected folder. 

There you have it; now you are ready to share your interesting find from Twitter with your friends on other social media sites.
